My name is Noelle Kelley and I am from New Orleans, LA.  I am pursuing a degree in fashion design at Louisiana State University. I have always known that I wanted to be fashion designer for as long as I can remember and I am continuing to pursue those dreams. Throughout my studies at LSU I have studied abroad at the Paris American Academy in Paris, France and in my junior year I placed first for my three look collection that was inspired by the Quentin Tarantino film, Kill Bill Volumes 1&2. I am constantly drawing inspiration from other fine art forms and cultivating the themes and elements into my designs. During my studies in Paris, I was engrossed in the immense amount of art and beauty in the city and from my fascination the three concepts of my senior collection were born. I plan to further develop my collection "Hemingway's Fool" to fuse storytelling, the lost generation, and the trials of love into the fashion sphere. After graduation I plan to pursue a career in fashion design and will continue to chase my ultimate goal of running my own namesake label in ready-to-wear fashion, a further development of my current design persona, Stargirl. My brand Stargirl is the embodiment of my own inscrutable journey upwards toward the stars.
